With Sympathy....
August 11, 2009
It is with sadness that I share the news with you that Robin (Zaremba) Lee-Burmeister said good-bye to "Misty" this evening - she was 13.5 years old.
Am./Can. Champion Bayswater Windward Mist was a 5-time group winner in two countries, all owner-handled by Robin. Misty and Robin also had a brief appearance on an Animal Planet TV show featuring dog shows, which was filmed while they were at the 1998 Westminster Dog Show in NY. Misty enjoyed retirement and being head of the Windward household, making her last appearance at a show in Michigan in April where she competed as a Veteran and strutted her stuff like an old pro.
Bred by Mary-Kay Schroeder and out of Rudder and Rose, she was a beautiful girl and was admired by many.
Our sympathies to Robin and Rod during this very difficult loss.
- Kathy Maguire
